As a Brownie I decide to complete the collectors badge. Realising that the examiner had seen countless stamp collections already I wanted something a little bit different. I noticed that everywhere I visited they seemed to sell a badge as a souvenir and they were cheap enough to be affordable within my pocket money.

So started a lifelong collection of badges commemorating places, events and achievements in my life (and sometime those around me who have contributed to my collection).

This blog is an attempt to catalogue what has until now been a largely disorganised collection and a chance to reflect on a life full of badges.
