Handwritten Letter Appreciation Society

One of my birthday presents was membership of this society, which included a lovely handwritten letter from the organiser. Now just to find the time to get my pen and paper out.

Hadestown

This was a show we went to to celebrate somebody else’s birthday. It really was a fantastic evening out.

Fairport’s Cropredy Convention

I love this festival which is a very special part of August for us. So this limited edition and beautiful leather badge is absolutely wonderful.

Roger Dean Dragon

It’s not uncommon for people to buy me presents from Cropredy festival. This one though is pretty special, coming from the Roger Dean stall (Yes, he of the amazing artwork, pun intended). And I do absolutely love dragons.

Natural History Museum

I miss the dinosaur from my childhood of course, but the whale skeleton was impressive.

Kingfisher

A second badge from the bird exhibition. It was from a set of three but I gave the third to the birthday girl.

Puffin

We went to see this exhibition at the Natural History Museum for a birthday treat (not mine). I had a soft spot for the puffin badge of course.

Green RWCMD

Another badge from the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama. This one was a present as I yet again failed to visit the show myself this year.
