St. Albans South Signal Box

This was such a chance find. While looking for something to do near St Albans, I happened to find this restored signal box on a day when they were open to visitors. It really is a lovely afternoon out with many working signals which you can (and are encouraged to) operate. All the volunteers were knowledgeable and very friendly. This badge just made a fun trip out perfect.
